Measured. Certified.

Inadequate lighting is a workplace safety failure and an insurance liability. We measure, certify and report illuminance levels against BS EN 12464, BS 5266 and HSE Workplace Regulations — for any building, any sector, anywhere in London and the South East.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is lux testing a legal requirement?

Under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, every employer has a duty to provide suitable and sufficient lighting. BS EN 12464 and BS 5266 set the specific minimums your building type is measured against.

How long does a survey take?

A single-zone spot check takes under an hour; a full warehouse or multi-floor survey is typically scoped and timed once we know the floor area and number of zones.

Do you provide a certificate?

Yes — every survey produces a signed report with measured lux readings against the relevant standard, suitable for insurance, CQC, or licensing evidence.
